Touchdomain's dashboard is a web app designed with the aim of helping brand communication managers in order to design, schedule and deliver brand new interactive digital experience through the CMS (Content Management System) developed by Practix srl.

We started working on the project on January 2015 and we are still improving it.

The application is divided into three main parts:

  • The CMS developed to help users in the creation of different kind of experience through the upload of contents;
  • The so called "Machinez Room" where each project is remotely assigned to one or more specific screens;
  • The Analytics page where communication managers are able to control several metrics such as how many people interact with the system and how long;

What we’ve accomplished:

1.

First of all, we create a wireframe of the design with Bohemian Coding Sketch and Invision, my favourite app for rapid prototyping. In this way we tested the early design with users and we discovered errors without need of writing codes.

2.

We worked on the UI Design by starting from a quite famous AngularJS template called METRONIC. This choice gave us (developers and me) a direction and several constraints in terms of User Interface Design.

I worked as a developer in order to reuse consolidated UI Elements and patterns to let developers work in a better way.

3.

We release it in BETA in order to receive feedbacks from users.

4.

We iterated it several times in less than 6 months in order to transform our prototype in a functional product. This is still a work-in-progress product.
